It's All in Black and White

Another day in the corporate world, I decided to dress all in black and white. Found these amazing white slacks from ZARA, with a black waist band and a matching studded slim belt for it. I loved it the moment I saw it! To keep me warm and to make the "corporate/business attire" look, I wore a blazer over my sleeveless black and white stripes top. And tada, I love how the gold buttons from my black and white polo stands out in the middle.

To spice things up a bit, I wore this black pumps with pink heels. This is to get out of the monotonous black and white ensemble I was wearing, and to show my personality amidst the business-y and super corporate job that I have. I always don't fail to have an element of surprise in my outfits.

This look is a normal corporate working day for me, how about you?

Casual Fridays

Friday work wear dress code: Casual Fridays = jeans are allowed.

Having to attend a dinner and hang-out with block mates after work, I opted for a lighter and livelier outfit during my first Friday at work. I paired this printed blazer with a light-colored polo top inside, but with shimmer to match with the bold theme of the blazer. And then I put some light pink accessories to add the casualness to my outfit.

Love how my look ended up. Not too formal, not too casual, with a little bit of my fashionable and daring side, matching prints and pairing complementing accessories.

ZARA printed blazer, polo top, black pants. Carbon nude patent pumps.

Corporate Chic

Started going to office this week. The dress code is business attire, but not strictly. I decided to spice things up a bit with a structured peplum top and floral pants, as long as I followed the rule of "no jeans  during weekdays."

Bought this Planetes Longchamp right before I started going to work. My old Le Pliage's zipper is no longer functional. Sad. :( Anyway, I decided to replace it with a more sophisticated tote bag, similar to Le Pliage. I found this brown one and I'm loving it.

Animal Instinct

Went out on a Saturday for me and my baby's monthsary celebration and also for my new found work. It was not exactly what we have in mind, and our day was mostly ruined by the bad weather, but nevertheless, we managed to come up with last-minute little plans to make up for the lost plans. After a fantastic sumptuous breakfast at Apartment 1B, we found ourselves with nowhere to go and had no ideas to make us both happy, and ended up shopping at SM North Edsa. My baby bought new shoes! Looooovvvveeee them!!!

Current trend: Leopard Print

Topshop polo top. ZARA leopard trousers. Carbon sling bag.
Charles and Keith nude heels. Forever21 neck piece and ring.

How did you spend your Saturday?

Friday Night Out

Went to an AdCreate Party tonight, Redtown. It was one of those days when I open my closet and close it again because I have nothing to wear. Sick and tired of my usual pile of clothes, I sat on my desk and began browsing through lookbook for outfit ideas. But instead, I found myself wanting to shop to update my wardrobe. At the last minute, I decided to toss out key pieces that I think will suit tonight's event. And then, voila, I formed a one-of-a-kind look with 3 pieces of clothing from my usual wardrobe.

In this look, I wore an asymmetrical bodycon dress which I think is too short, that's why I decided to throw on a glitter black mini skirt inside to make it longer. It did not just make my dress longer, but also instantly added a unique kind of hem to my dress.

Instead of the usual black asymmetrical dress, I spiced things up a bit by wearing this gold off-shoulder on top of it, giving a peek-a-boo kind of uniqueness to my look.

And this black chain waist band to add shape and attitude to my ensemble.

Kept my accessories simple by wearing similar shades of gold and black.

I haven't worn these babies for a long time now, and I just knew it would be perfect for my look tonight.

This Is Not A Gloomy Day

It was a rainy and windy day yesterday which led me to create such a gloomy and sophisticated outfit. I did not want to go to a slouchy form-and-figureless outfit as it is usually is during lazy bedweather days. I came up with a stylish and a more figure-hugging one which instantly puts me on a happy mood despite of the gloomy day.

I wore this textured dark blue top from Warehouse which I bought ages ago and has completely forgotten about it, with a black patent belt to emphasize my waist.

And then I added killer and edgy accessories and bag.

And black leather leggings for some rawrrr in my look

And lastly, an equally stylish shoe wear.

Warehouse top. Dorothy Perkins belt. Only leggings.
Stella Luna flats. Charles and Keith bag. Forever21 silver cuff.
